Our Services

We've outlined the basic workflow for different types of projects below. You'll notice that we don't link to any PDF forms on our site- that's because our system is fully automated. It generates all of the required forms and sends them to the correct recipients for digital signature.

Registered Accessibility Specialist (RAS) Services

Are you required to comply? In Texas, new construction and renovation projects are required to comply with the Texas Accessibility Standards(TAS) if they are:

  • used by the public, in whole or part,
  • leased by the State, or
  • part of a commercial enterprise.

Projects that are required to comply and have a construction budget of greater than $50,000 must be registered with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

Step 1: Project Registration

TDLR charges a $175 fee when registering new projects. If you'd like us to take care of that for you, just submit the project information of our Start a Project form. This is generally the easiest option.

If you would prefer to register the project yourself, create an account at TDLR's web portal and make sure to enter Spencer Cook, RAS #1524 as your Registered Accessibility Specialist when prompted. We will be notified and will contact you shortly.

Step 2: Plan Review

Once the project has been registered and we've received the construction documents, we will perform the Plan Review. Our findings will be submitted to the building owner, the designer, and TDLR.

Step 3: Inspection

Projects must be inspected within one year of the estimated completion date entered during project registration. We will email you with a pre-filled Request for Inspection form when construction is nearing completion. The inspection will be scheduled once we have that form signed as well as payment for the final invoice.
